TAOTOE™ is an outdoor Human-Powered Happiness™ footwear company that set out to revolutionize the first shoe ever known to mankind, "sandals". We are in the process of developing the Taotoe brand and a new revolutionary and patented sandal.
Taotoe bucked tradition because we thought differently and defined a new category in the sandal space. The Taotoe sandal sets A New Standard, A New Experience for our customers and the future of sandals.
We are also committed to be environmentally responsible manufacturers, as well as pledging to actively support and work for a clean environment. In every facet of our business, we’re committed to respecting the people and the environments we touch.
The new Taotoe sandal is the signature product for the brand. However, the brand will offer a few complementary products such as apparel, iPhone App titled Tao Tracks™, in addition to holding outdoor Taotoe Challenge events a few times per year.

The TAO in Taotoe
The spirit of our brand is embraced in a very simple ancient Chinese philosophy. The word TAO means… ‘One’s Path’ or ‘One’s Way’ with nature and enjoying life.
Tao comes from a BCE (Before Common Era) 6th century ancient Chinese philosopher Lao Tzu (Lal-Sue). Lao Tzu wrote his simple philosophy that consists of 81 short quotes and poems.
Tao is simply a philosophy about following one’s path and living a much less stressful life by connecting with nature and going with the flow, instead of struggling against it. Tao is about ‘being alive’, seeing the beauty in the sky, the clouds and experiencing the joy of connected relationships. It’s not being able to tell the singer from the song, the dancer from the dance.
Tao says we are natural beings in a natural world, so nature is not only a fundamental aspect of being alive; it’s also a place for the rejuvenation of your mind and soul. Tao is simply about being connected to nature and living a happy, healthy and fulfilled life.
